Purchasing Specialist

The main missions of the role are to: • Building up purchasing flow (both direct purchase and indirect purchase) in industry environment: demand planning, vendor selection, daily PO management, reception control, payment validation and vendor evaluation. • Creates and implements sourcing strategy to achieve target cost and working capital reduction as per company objectives • Monitoring inventory level to avoid overbuy or short buy. • Responsible for estimation of fabric and trim cost for quotation. • Skilfully negotiate conditions with suppliers (prices, conditions, payment terms, etc.) • Actively monitor the PO status in order to ensure products are delivered on time, on cost and with right quantity and quality • Responsible for liaison/negotiation with suppliers for claims when there is quality issue or variance from PO for replacement or reimbursement. • Seek the development of current supplies through continuous monitoring of all aspects of the supply process and establishing meaningful measures of performance • Advice on customs regulation for imported goods The ideal candidate will have/be: • Experience minimum 2-3 years in a similar position, preferable from textile industry; • Good knowledge of custom rules or regulations • Experienced candidates, having business mentality-overview; • Self-driven, pay attention to detail. • Very good understanding for the process flow in production; • Hands on profile, correctitude and flexibility, hardworking and respect deadline; • Strategical thinking, proactive, efficient; • Proficiency in English, having a good expertise in using an ERP; • Proactivity result and client-oriented person, business-driven person;
